Pacific Advanced Technology has been operating as a R&D contractor for the US Defense Community for over 30 years developing next generation electro-optic sensors with an emphasis on the infrared applications.
For the last 19 years PAT technology has been used in optical gas imaging cameras sold worldwide to the industrial markets for gas leak detection and quantification.
In addition the same technology with the support of numerous US defense R&D contracts the PAT technology in infrared hyperspectral imaging continued to be refined and miniaturized to the current products that are the smallest available worldwide.
PAT under contract to the US Army and Special Operations Command is developing the smallest infrared hyperspectral camera to be flown on miniature drones to detect and identify chemical warfare agents, explosive devices and processing labs.
