The IMSS mated to a laboratory dewar

The IMSS lens system will mate with any infrared camera with a standard bayonet mount and can be custom modified for other configurations.

Visible IMSS Imaging Spectrometer

The visible IMSS has a spectral resolution of 1 nanometer and over 400 spectral bins between 400 and 800 nanometers.

LWIR or MWIR IMSS Imaging Spectrometer

The mid-wave infrared IMSS has a spectral resolution of 0.01 microns and over 200 spectral bins between 3 to 5 microns.

The IMSS imaging spectrometer also referred to as hyper-spectral imager is based upon the chromatic dispersion properties of a diffractive optical element. Using the patented IMSS approach allows both imaging and dispersion with a single optical element thus enabling very high throughput and a simplistic optics design.
