FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AIRBORNE DATA COLLECTION WITH IMSS INFRARED HYPERSPECTRAL SENSORHyperspectral infrared imaging from an airborne platform.Pacific Advanced Technology recently worked with the Galileo Group to integrate the PAT MWIR IMSS imaging spectrometer into a gimbaled pod for the purposes of airborne data collection. The entire data collection system is easily portable and is packed in two ruggedized shipping containers as shown here. The system can be set up and airborne within a half hour.
PAT and Galileo Group employees manned the system in a series of flight tests in July of 2000. The system successfully collected spectral image data on multiple targets without failure. This is a tribute to the ruggedness of the IMSS and HyPAT II systems. PAT and Galileo Group are currently working together to integrate a LWIR IMSS imaging spectrometer into a gimbaled pod for airborne data collection. For More Information Contact: |
